Gathering Momentum, our 2009 Heroes Tribute, will be a magical evening to celebrate the groundbreaking work of the Breast Cancer Fund to stop breast cancer before it starts, and honor the extraordinary leaders who make prevention possible.

This year, we will acknowledge four leaders in the fields of science and advocacy who are working to create a healthy world – a world free of breast cancer – for our children and grandchildren.

Our 2009 heroes include women and children’s health advocates Mary Brune and Joan Blades; scientist Ted Schettler; and four-time Climb Against the Odds participant and Breast Cancer Fund Strong Voice Linda Morton.

The Breast Cancer Fund experienced landmark achievements in 2008, including passage of a federal ban of toxic phthalates in children’s toys, and we are poised for more success in 2009. Enjoy an evening of celebration at Heroes Tribute 2009 and help us continue our momentum toward a healthy future.
