CARE celebrates International Women's Day with A Powerful Noise

WHAT: If you’re looking for a night out with a purpose, here’s the perfect ticket for you. On Thursday, March 5, in honor of International Women’s Day, CARE and NCM Fathom – in partnership with ONE and the UN Commission on the Status of Women – will present A POWERFUL NOISE Live in 450 movie theatres nationwide. The one-night event will feature the acclaimed documentary, “A Powerful Noise,” followed by a town hall discussion with expert and celebrity panelists broadcast live from New York City to participating theaters.

WHO: After the credits roll, you don’t want to miss the live panel discussion with top experts and celebrities including former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Christy Turlington Burns, CARE advocate for maternal health and contributing editor for Marie Claire magazine, CARE President Dr. Helene Gayle, New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof, actress Natalie Portman, and others to be announced. Sarah Michelle Gellar will be speaking at the Century City, CA location.
