It comes one day after the Sept 24th statewide walkout on all UC campuses, protesting the cuts.

Tickets are a $10 donation, with the proceeds going to the students of Animo Watts Charter High School of the Green Dot Public Schools. Admission is free to public school students (high schools, jr. and state colleges) including those currently attending UCLA. Just show a student id at the door.

GreenRoots is a fiscally responsible and socially conscious production/design company, that started in 2007, after a request from a friend for an eco-friendly wedding in Ojai, CA. We then went into set design for commercials, produced a series of specs for Hybrid cars, and in 2008, co-produced a documentary called “Craigslist Joe”.
Over the past two years, we have all watched this little company that could organically grow to include producing events/music showcases centered around creating a sense of community for artists and musicians, and raising funds for different local Los Angeles non-profits.
From private parties/jam sessions in the Hills to sold out concerts in Hollywood, we hope to remind the artists and the audience that the purpose behind the music is participation, locally and globally, because at the end of the day, we’re all in this together.
