CLIENT ACCESS VOLUNTEER
A volunteer opportunity to assist the Client Contact Program and Clientline by helping case manage APLA” self-sufficient clients by assessing client situations, providing up-to-date information and referrals by telephone and updating client records; assist in maintaining current resource library.
DATA ENTRY VOLUNTEER
Assist various agency programs with Data Entry Projects, Filing and Sorting. Shifts available between the hours of 10 AM and 4 PM.
OFFICE SERVICES VOLUNTEER
Office Services member assist various APLA departments in the day-to-day handling of additional administrative/clerical work. Projects may involve photocopying, mailings, filing, data-entry, and phone banking to name but a few. Volunteers are accepted at all skill levels and with shifts available between the hours of 10-4 pm, Monday through Friday.
FOOD BANK/ FOOD DRIVE VOLUNTEER
The Necessities of Life Program (NOLP) provides groceries to over 1,7000 clients that are on a limited income. NOLP is one of the largest direct client contact programs here at APLA, NOLP has a number of opportunities for volunteers such as distributing groceries to clients, pre-bagging groceries, filing and stocking shelves.
