We would love for you to join us! We are looking for individuals who are interested in helping The Art of Elysium transition from a local to a national organization. This is a very exciting time for us! Our organization is growing quickly and we can utilize any and all skills you may have to offer. Help us promote an event. Work from home making press kits or thank you letters. Work in our offices. We will do our best to match your skills, interests and availability with our needs.

We are looking for volunteers to help on each of our five teams:
• Special Events
• Fundraising
• Administrative Support
• Marketing/PR Outreach
• Arts and Crafts

Volunteers are required to attend a training and orientation session to learn more about the organization’s goals and needs, meet some of The Art of Elysium leadership, gain some specific communication skills and get answers to any questions you may have. At the training/ orientation and immediately afterwards, we will help you identify the most effective volunteer role for you within one of the five teams listed above. All activities, whether highly visible or completely behind-the-scenes, have a direct impact on the quality of experience The Art of Elysium offers to children and their families.

Your contribution of time and resources is critical in helping us refine our services for children, build a strong foundation for The Art of Elysium and expand our programs in order to reach more critically ill youth across the nation.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
When you join The Art of Elysium as a volunteer, we ask you to commit to clear and frequent communication with our staff, other volunteers and the youth we serve. We have set a minimum time commitment for all volunteers of 4 hours per month, but we encourage you to contribute as much as you are able and willing. We know you have a busy life, and fitting this in can be challenging, but commit to give the minimum we ask, and we’re certain you’ll find it worthwhile!

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US
We are a hard-working, enthusiastic, supportive, hearts-on-our-sleeves group. We will do our best to offer you a rewarding experience volunteering with The Art of Elysium. We’re all about helping children and their families, and we’re glad you decided to join us. Thank you!
