VOLUNTEER AT ONE OF OUR THANKSGIVING DINNER PARTIES
Each year, Chrysalis hosts a total of three parties across Los Angeles during Thanksgiving, to create a fun, warm, and welcoming environment for Chrysalis clients and their families to enjoy time together. Chrysalis is reaching out to its community supporters, local businesses, and friends, to help make these incredible evenings possible!

Help serve food, as well as set-up, and clean-up, for the Thanksgiving Dinner.

Help stuff gift bags for the holiday parties on December 5th.

DONATE ITEMS FOR HOLIDAY GIFT BAGS
Donate gift cards in $10 increments (stores such as Target, Vons, Starbucks, Best Buy, Toys-R-Us, etc., are ideal!). Our goal is to secure 700 gift cards to provide to our clients for the December Holiday Parties.

Reach out to deli’s/restaurants to get a full Thanksgiving Dinner donated or underwrite the cost to feed our clients at the dinner parties (client numbers vary per office, please inquire).

Secure holiday gifts for gift bags, in a quantity of 700 items, as a bulk donation (new items like hygiene products, fun games, notebooks, etc. are ideal!).

Donate art projects or other children’s activities for kids to enjoy as an evening activity. Art kits, paints, glue, and even goodies to decorate cookies are great!

ONGOING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Chrysalis is ALWAYS looking for friendly, outgoing volunteers to educate and empower our job-seeking clients! As a Chrysalis volunteer, you will have the unique opportunity to personally motivate our clients through one of the most critical stages of their lives.

No experience is necessary, but we do train our volunteers first. We especially welcome individuals with a background in class facilitation, resume preparation, and/or interview skills.

The majority of volunteer opportunities are available during our business hours : Monday thru Thursday 8-4, and Friday 8-12 noon . Most of our volunteers commit 1 to 4 hours per week. We have open volunteer positions at all three of our offices in Downtown LA, Santa Monica, and Pacoima in the San Fernando Valley.
