Why I Participate
I love when organizations or causes give a wide variety of people from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to participate and make a difference. It is so great to see people who have the power and capacity to affect change and to represent those who are unable to represent themselves actually harnessing that understanding and opportunity. I love to see people using their gifts and talents for good and to help others.

Invisible Children, Falling Whistles, Kiva.org, music, research, the beach, visiting the snow, road trips, going to beach-like places like Santa Cruz and Monterey, playing flute, reading, watching tv online, taking history classes, learning to play other musical instruments, shopping, watching movies, talking, researching trips to Europe that I hope to someday take, laughing, being a klutz, learning about Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Congo, Save Darfur, Enough Project, Condition: Critical, Doctors Without Borders, Falling Whistles, and again, Invisible Children.
