Why I Participate
I care about those who cannot speak-up for themselves: children with Autism is my passion due to my youngest son. I can't stand it when those who are weaker are bullied by those who are stronger/wealthier. I have been a social worker for developmentally disabled adults - assisting with housing, resources for food, transportation, and medical, just to name a few. That career helped me to understand my youngest son, Lorenzo. I have been down lately with migraine headaches, but I am getting my "fight" back. I will never give up, I am a mother warrior.
About Me
I do not want to become rich or famous. Just make a difference in a few lives...improve. Lorenzo loves comedy - he had most of the movies from Jerry Lewis, and many from Jim Carrey. He often borrows lines directly from those movies. I would love to travel someday, but right now it's just getting my son to and from school, webelos, and baseball. all activities that he loves, but probably not that good in. (okay, not probably, but that's not what counts, right?) someday....the Carribean....Austrailia....even Italy. And I'll write my book.
My Interest
I enjoy taking photos/video taping family events, & land/sea scapes (I have lots to bore you with), I read, read, read. I enjoy helping others and making a difference in their lives. (including my work) I love traveling, music, horses. I also listen to talk radio to get the rest of the news that is never, ever put on mainstream media: t.v. etc. I like Lars Larson, Michael Savage, Laura Ingram, even Pat Robertson. Oh ya, Rusty Humphries, Glen Beck, and don't forget to listen to Coast to Coast on friday nights!!
