This weekend was incredible and really got me back into a nature-centered mentality. I started out by camping with Nina, which had a few setbacks, but we were able to look at them as things we can easily improve for our next trip. (Earplugs, extra blankets, and DRY wood) We stayed at Fairview State Park in Louisiana.
Today, we went kayaking and I haven't had that much fun in years. It was gorgeous. We were on the Okatoma River in Mississippi. It made me feel so alive. If you get the chance, KAYAK! -

I've been sending invites and emails to a lot of people trying to get as many people involved as I can. I'm still trying to offer up a little money each week to a different organization.

I had never heard of Causecast until I heard about the Conor Oberst documentary. The more I read, the more I realized I wanted to help out. I'm going to try to donate money every few weeks. (The documentary was great)
