Hey Causecast!
I’ve been a Campus Rep at San Francisco State for a few months now, and unfortunately it's been a little slow going until now. But Causecast at SF State is rearing to go! Here are some of our plans for the rest of this semester and the upcoming one. First we’ll be canvassing for pledges next week for the IPledge2Protect Campaign. We are hoping to really spread the word about the Genocide Intervention Network’s movement to prevent genocide and get a lot of signatures!
We are also in the process of working with Curry Without Worry (it’s a program that provides food to homeless people). We are going to be doing some holiday treats for them next week, so I get to show off my mad baking skills! (Well, I’ll be honest, pretty good baking skills). We’re also collaborating with the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy. We are going to try and get more students involved in the Conservancy and gather groups to go volunteer there.
