Everyone has a cause that aggravates them. Whether it's Aaron "Bruce Wayne" Cohen's single-handed slave rescue or providing musical instruments to public schools, everyone's lives have been affected in a way that will make them sympathetic to some sort of cause. Community service introduces you to people and situations you'd never known, and if for nothing other than the humble reminder of what you do have, is worth some of your spare hours. If you don't think you have spare hours, donate to something that hits home. It'll encourage other people and help you sleep easier
