Why I Participate
I always had passion, but I never had anything to do with it. My freshman year of high school, I became seriously involved in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, and raised over $1,000. My sophomore year, I was the executive chair of my high school's Relay, and raised over $1,500. But my sophomore year, I really became involved in Invisible Children. I had seen the video in school the year before, but I decided to start a club - and I was hooked. I attended The Rescue in Philadelphia, and How It Ends in Washington. I had never been involved in something where not only did I fit in, but I felt like my life had changed. I am a better person because of Invisible Children, and I want to commit the rest of my life to helping the children of Uganda.
About Me
I'm a 16 year old vegetarian who loves frozen fruit in milk, peace signs, and life.
My Interest
I love art, photography, and theater. I'm also involved in sports - field hockey, track, and lacrosse. But I am truly most passionate about my nonprofits - I breathe Invisible Children.
