Invisible Children

The abduction of children for the purposes of turning them into soldiers is a great injustice. War, in all its forms, is one of the great evils of humanity, but making children part of war is an especially heinous crime that cannot go unnoticed or unpunished. We believe that making people aware of the situation in North Uganda, and of the terrible crimes against children committed by the Lord’s Resistance Army, is vitally important. Children all over the world should have access to education and health care and should not have to worry about becoming involved in civil conflict. Organizations who create child soldiers are committing a crime against humanity. They take the most innocent and helpless humans and twist them into instruments of hate and death. There is truly nothing more tragic. We hope that by making our fans aware of Invisible Children, we can do a small amount to heighten consciousness about the situation in Northern Uganda and help support an organization that is attempting to assist children in this war torn region. We hope those touched by this cause will support Invisible Children in whatever way they can.
