Why I Participate
I think it's crucial to be part of the global community. We don't live in a age where ignorance is an excuse for not getting involved. As social media has grown so has our knowledge of the world around us. We simply cannot sit idly by looking for someone else to take the initiative. One voice can affect change. I want to raise my voice for those who cannot.
About Me
My job for the past two years has been Online Director for the band Mothers Anthem. I manage official social media websites for Mothers Anthem. Create all content, run contests, coordinate with agents, managers, venue's , press as needed to facilitate effective online promotion.Increased fan participation on MySpace, Facebook and Youtube. In the process of launching promotions for other sites. Manage all aspects of official websites including contests to generate fan interest and participation as well as building a continuing support base. Write, edit, post blogs and bulletins as well as send notifications to fans of upcoming events. Coordinate and oversee all online appearances and participation by the artist. Design flyers for all events. Manage and train all Movement leaders, as well as ensure their promotions are up to date and in line with the vision Mothers Anthem has set forth. Now I'd like to take those skills and use what I have learned to raise awareness in the fight to stop child trafficking and put a end to slavery.
My Interest
Music, art, photography, reading, graphic design, did I mention music? I'm also interested in : Seeing the end of Slavery A world where children are safe. The end of hunger A more earth friendly approach to life. Believe it or not these goals could be within our reach as long as we stand together. Words without actions are just words.
