Why I Participate
Some people are trying to be captains of industry, others political leaders, still others rock stars or professional athletes. I'm just trying to be a good person (although being a rock star would be kinda cool).
About Me
I'm a recent college grad living in sunny San Diego, California. I previously led up a human rights group at my university, and intend to continue to law school to study human rights law. Otherwise, I sleep late, eat a lot of burritos, and read everything I can get my hands on. That's my life in a nutshell.
My Interest
Independent bookstores, Independent coffee houses, independent bookstores next to independent coffee houses, reading, writing, soapboxes, organic and fair trade t-shirts, good-naturedly scandalizing people of convention, reggae music, action movies, sushi, the Second Spanish Republic, driving with my foot out the window, chocolate chip cookies.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I was on vacation and away from my email for a few weeks. We hope to eventually spread YDT to Los Angeles, but we're not there yet :( We've done a few SD related posts that might interest you--recently a staycation post for North County http://yourdailythread.com/2009/06/15/local-getaways-north-san-diego-june-bloom-trip/ and we did a post on the SD eco investment club when they visited Los Angeles--I think they do monthly meetings in SD http://yourdailythread.com/2008/07/21/tough-financial-times-think-green/ Last but not least if you like beer, you have one of the most sustainable breweries in your back yard (escondido) Stone Brew Co http://www.stonebrew.com/ The Brewery is certainly worth a visit.
