Why I Participate
Images can change the way people see the world, whether you are the image, you create the image, or you capture it. I have seen people be moved to make a difference through rocking out at a benefit concert, an up-close encounter with an endangered gorilla, or even sitting in a theater watching images of people and environments they would never get to on their own.
