Why I Participate
I have the freedom to make genuine choices about how I spend my time, the type of work I do, and who I want to be. It's unlikely that I'll ever have to make a "choice" to starve my family or sell my daughter into prostitution. I don't think I'll ever have to risk arrest because I read a banned novel. I don't even have to fear publicly questioning my government. I'm involved because I know that many people don't have the freedoms I enjoy.
About Me
I've kept a journal since I was eight years old and actually wrote "Dear Diary" at the beginning of my early entries.
My Interest
I like happy hour, hiking, typewriters, surprising people, museums, saying the word tofurkey, traveling, the Pasadena library, skateboarding, the Golden Gate bridge, rivers, and a few other things. I'm also a sucker for anything free.
