Why I Participate
In the information age, real stories gets lost among Wikipedia articles and 5 o'clock headlines. For decades Africa's image has been coined by Western media which leads with the bleeds. The Kujilana team is determined to empower a village to tell its own stories and coin its own image through film. With video cameras in its own hands, Nomba Village may shoot back.
