the sad reality that apathy is pervasive and the knowledge that there is so much that needs to and can still be done.
About Me
i am a sophomore in college in santa monica aspiring to become a journalist. the great thing about journalism is that your job is to learn and to share that knowledge with other people. it is a combination of being a writer, a traveler, a student, an investigator, an activist, and an educator. i would love to write about politics and global issues, aid in the transformation (not death) of print media, go to places i've always dreamed about, write the things that no one else wants to or dares to say, inspire action and passion, and live a full, productive life. that is the goal. that's where i'm going.
