Why I Participate

The realization that an individual action/voice can affect many and has the power to bring about great change. Now more than ever I see the need for change and more importantly, I see the opportunity to participate in this change. I want to be a part of this process rather than a mere witness to it. I want to be an intregal part of making this world a better place and to help pave the way for a better and brighter future.

About Me

So often we lose sight of what's really important in this life and in the process we are consumed by the most trivial of matters. Most people (myself included) have been conditioned to believe that our individual participation has little to no influence when it comes to making any actual difference, resolving to let others speak on our behalf. I no longer wish to be a silent observer but rather an active participant in what's going on in both my community and the world at large.

My Interest

Over the past few years I have become increasingly passionate about the issues facing our environment and have started taking steps in my own life to help reduce my carbon footprint. I am continuing to educate myself on this issue as well as many others. The arts are a huge passion of my mine as well and music in particular has always held a special place in my heart. I have long understood the power of music and the universal impact in can have.
