Why I Participate

Things that touch me to my core. Things that are eye opening, are not sugar coated- reality. Causes I can feel for. Humanitarian issues...So many things, but mostly something that touches me on a personal level.

About Me

I am equally introverted and extroverted. I am different I guess. It depends on who I am around as to what personality I display (bubbly and talkative vs. shy and quiet). I am a feeler, I like to get involved with things that matter but often don't know how to go about doing just that. I dislike conflict and am the person always looking at the mitigating circumstances and always trying to mend things. I think people should pay attention to what is going on in the world and get outside of themselves. With that said, I will read/watch and learn about issues and things that most people find don't want to even process or talk about. I write, so at times I close off when I am in that "writing mode". I process things a great deal. Some people say I OVER process things. However, I tend to think that you have to take in your environment and process it in order to truly understand it and be a part of the world. I don't want to know just the world that is my own house, community or circle of family/friends but I also want to know what is going on globally and outside of my "box". Some people call me OCD, I tend to describe that aspect of myself as careful or thorough. Also, some people call me a pessimist or a cynical person but I tend to describe that trait as being realistic. Outside of that cynicism and pessimism I do have a great deal of hope for the future and the world. I just don't tend to like things sugar coated. While I can be a bit OCD/Cynical I do have a big comedic side to me. I love to laugh, I love to make others laugh and I think without laughter the world is drab.

My Interest

Web design (I am learning- I am no expert), friends, family, music, traveling and wine. I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things. Laughter is a must.
