Screening of "HEATHER AND GOLIATH" on March 30th at Reel Women's International Film Festival

When a biologist at the Army Corps learns that her organization is secretly making a devastating decision about the Los Angeles River, she leaks the internal memo to her congressman, and brings national attention to the river's environmental crisis. She then participates in a kayaking expedition down the beleagured, channelized river, only to be threatened with suspension from her job when the Corps learns of her participation. "Heather and Goliath" is the inspiring and energetic portrait of a young woman who couldn't simply stand by and watch her city's most important water source undergo death by a thousand developers.
