So this weekend I went to an awesome human rights rally... my first big rally ever! It was so great to see so many people all supporting something so powerful. I can't wait to upload the pictures!

The Power of Media

I've been watching all the videos streaming into Causecast, and it has finally dawned upon me how vital media (videos) are to compelling people to take action. After every video I see, the issues become real, and I feel the ability to make a difference and actually do something about an issue. All I can think to myself is "why can't everyone see videos like these?" If there was a way to get videos from nonprofits screened in every school around the country, I think the impact could be HUGE! Maybe that could be a goal of mine.

Just got back from another Human Rights Campaign meeting and I'm super excited about what we're going to accomplish this year! We've got a ton planned but I'm so happy about becoming more involved -- it feels great!
