It's one of my favorite places to look for beautiful gifts while getting involved with fair trade. Fair Trade? say what? Fair trade is in opposition to free trade, which allows for exploitation of rather than the uplifting of communities. Fair trade allows for people to buy products that are made by people who are earning a fair wage for their work in environments that are sustainable. It is about connecting producers and consumers and letting our producers work toward self-sufficiency and stability.
