Why I Participate
The fact that Mia Kirshner took 7 years out of her life to make this book possible. Kirshner traveled around the world to the most distant places where the media doesn't take their time to go to. In a very unique manner I can identify myself with the individuals in this book. I come from a country in which corruption and poverty rule it for the most part. Im glad someone took the time out of their hectic schedule to make a change in such a powerful way.
About Me
I can to this country in search of a miracle. Not every has the oppurtunity that I have gotten to come to America. My life in America has been rough with a single-mother and with no family what so ever. Even though, I have come a long way since I was three-years-old I have my own unique story to tell.
