Why I Participate

A vision: spoken by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. so many years ago..."In the future all youth will come together to make this a better world" lives in my own personal life experience like so many that "social justice" doesn"t now exist. My belief that my personal insights are not impossible....that what's wanted and needed is not to but so create but one more non profit, foundation, think tank, but a focus on neighborhoods and to build from the visions with strategies that empower and give voice to the present youth on a track to prison...lay need track toward by 21 to have the skills needed for possibilities. That experience, my story from birth to today would be the why of this, my insight and stand to but put the idea's out there.

About Me

Have to date used but Plaxo and Facebook for a developing data base. I live with a extended family in the back yard...other's would call be homeless, seek no funding, but to move the vision forward. My SS income is two time's that of what Cesar E. Chavez so took for his personal use....and if he could create the UFW then "Yes I Can!" so within my Grupo Amistad Vision see a end result of a National in name: National Youth Union. Educated at what in Stockton, California was at that time a small college, College of the Pacific...now a large University. Have a older brother who sells more VW's than any other dealer in the USA and a younger one to whom is my hero. Like snow flakes each of us walk in different directions. Mine as what has been through the years been called by me: My project. Now the volunteer vision/work but called The Grupo Amistad Vision. At 72 years young that looking back holds my life experience "half full" and I will be the same Richard in the future days to which can but thank Werner for his transformational training to which was called EST and now Landmark Education for the strength to but live live forward and not as our society seeks to make not just youth live with their past as the weight it is but so many others as well. So by phone, e-mail and now the use of inter net resources I come to but Causecast to so begin my story and vision.

My Interest

Not sure if that is true for me.... I am interested in Diversity with a passion to which would make sure other youth experience a safe place to explore their sexuality within that so called "Positive Youth Development" network of institutions. That the issue of homophobia ends on both sides of the border....the most feared words of: he's or her is Gay! ends...to build on my past as in the 70"s so created the Gay People's Union at Stanford and sourced a now in place network of national student centers for LGBT as our's was before that idea took place. The Old Firehouse at Stanford still houses that to which but 6 others so worked toward back in the 70"s. Who would of thought that the US Office of Education would fund the Gay People's Union at Stanford for training in its "Help Communities Help Themselves" initiative or that we would overcome then Governor Reagan trying to take away the $90,000 for the grant to the Gay People's Union at Stanford from the Calif. State Health Dept. for what was called: Gay Community of Concern. So in some one has interest in a 72 year old activist...make yourself known. As this open vision to create public domain King/Chavez Legacy Teams grows...my stand is to but die and have given it away....the star's to be the youth who like my role will be volunteer initiative developers.
