* CA Budget Cuts Threaten Workers' Lives: Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger wants to cut over $20 billion from California's social services to bridge the massive state deficit. On the chopping blocks are state programs that provide workers with health care, higher education, welfare, parks AIDS treatment and counseling, and prisoner rehabilitation services. That's just the tip of the iceberg. The politicians from both parties are very publicly squabbling over cuts, but they all want to balance the budget on the backs of workers. They don't care if the weight of the cuts smashes us to the ground. Find out the depth of the crisis, what's at stake, and why capitalism is ultimately to blame.

* Honduras Update--Down with the Coup: Since the military coup ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya over one week ago, protests have rocked Honduras, Latin America and cities in the United States, including Los Angeles. Zelaya is trying to return, while the fascist coup plotters and their military thugs repress the growing people's movement in Honduras. Hear the latest about the struggle to overturn the coup in Honduras.

* 50 Years of Cuban Revolution--Help Build the Celebration: On July 25, the PSL will be joining its partners in the ANSWER Coalition for a celebration of Cuba's socialist revolution.
