If you haven't heard Aaron Cohen, deemed "The Slavehunter" by some, has recently released his second book called, simply, "Slave Hunter". Here in the video department we've been working on some material to help promote his book and his cause. The types of things that Aaron is doing are just unbelievable. If you don't know anything about him I highly suggest reading Jonathan Harris's recent article about the book release. Also, check out his profile and interviews here on Causecast. If this is a cause that you're interested in definitely support Aaron and get informed on the issue. It's certainly an important one that cannot be overlooked.

  • Second post, I couldn't think of a more creative title.

Well, the more time I spend here the better things seem to get. Last week was pretty awesome, working camera on the live stream of A Cause for Comedy. If you haven't heard about it or didn't go last time I highly recommend that you try to make it next month. It was a great event and the proceeds benefit Nextaid. What more could you want? Aside from that I have been working with the up and coming music department to organize some things for the future, keep an eye out for that. Also, been working with some new things for Aaron Cohen as well. Keep an eye out for those. His is one of the most crazy stories that I have heard about since I started here. If you don't know about him I highly suggest you check him out and keep your eyes peeled for new info. Also, be ready for the new website launch...it's just around the corner...

  • First week on the job

So far my first week at Causecast has been a very interesting experience. As an intern I've learned a ton about what Causecast stands for and I've begun to mold and shape my views of what I stand for more thoroughly. I'm hoping, although it seems unlikely, that I will be able to make it to A Cause for Comedy, which should be a great time. Unfortunately, I have class that night and I don't know that I will be able to get out. Either way I'll be looking for more opportunities to learn and grow while helping Causecast do the same.
