Letters to Levi, Where is the Autism.... New burdens for the old world....

Levi Felix was the Director of Creative Development for Causecast since its inception. He is now the Chief Activism Officer. He will be traveling the world with a mission...
To cross borders. Boundaries.
To see places previously only read about in books.
To share stories in regions rarely covered by our media.
To hear voices heard only through the lips of those who have been.
To help those who may have been overlooked.
They wrote this letter of introduction on their soon to be introduced website. I will promote with vigor once it is up.
For the next year we will be traveling around the world capturing stories of leadership and heroism, learning about communities in need and conflict, and connecting them with the support of those looking to give it. We will meet as many activists as possible, period; get our hands dirty, period; and come back with the smell of those long forgotten. Their stories now ours.
We will attempt to answer the questions:
What is effective activism?
What is collaboration, sustainability and understanding?
How will our diverse generation of social change build a true global culture committed to one another?
The era of charity is over. Tikkun olam, it’s evolving.
The implications and connections of our lives are now impossible to ignore. Though our actions unique, our impact is one.
We walk with high hopes. To understand how we as global citizens can differ so greatly, and still collectively dream beautiful dreams all together new. Connect, learn, give, act and share.
This is our pursuit.
Because, this is the world we live in.

I realized that we have an opportunity to look deeper and ask questions of societies that are screaming for help but where is there Urgent need to deal with Autism? Here are my letters to levi...
Dear Levi,
One more favor ... Levi as you are traveling the world to the third world countries looking at issues please ask about one thing for me. Is there an issue that is missing? In the Developed countries we have a Rising Autism Pandemic Evolution. Rape of Minds & Bodies with a rate now at 1 in 91 & 1 in 58 for 8 year olds as of 2007. So our rates are still Going through the roof & we have yet to count the last 10 years.
In Many third world countries they do not even have a word for Autism in their language. When the Somalies came to the U. S &. Were Double & Triple vaccinated at the same time their rates of Autism went from Nil to 1 in 25 in Minnesota. They did not have a word for it in their language.
I know children are dying from Many vaccine preventable diseases. I know that we must implement programs to immunize against these horrific diseases. I am sure in preparation for your trip you feel like a pin cushion. We must question the use of the Mercury preservative in the vaccines we give. That preservative alone may damage the emerging society & give them another burden that they will not have the resources to deal with.
Where is the Autism? Let me know.

Any discussion of the world we live in should include a visit to a bean field in downstate IL to discuss the state of the state of our children with Autism. I know it is not the most exciting place in the world. I know it is not that exciting or noteworthy from the outside, But the passion fire and determination to find Respect Independence Services and Answers for Autism from the heartland has never been stronger.
We are facing the demise of our time and the Health Crisis that will bankrupt this nation. I just attended the AFAA Advancing Futures for Adults with Autism National Town Hall in Chicago.... Barely a peep on the news. 300,000 teenagers with Autism will soon be adults needing services. Illinois has 6 Repeat six openings next year for residential services and a population of 29,000 needing services. My son currently is 15,001 on a wait list in a state that is 51st out of 50th in services for those with special needs. Please in your review of the world do not forget those on your own back doorstep.
The rise in rate is real. Now 1 in 91 and 1 in 58 boys. We just can not walk past this. We did it to ourselves.

What can you do today...
If you are a parent... Love your child unconditionally. Do not let your child feel they are any less because they cannot communicate the way we do or look after themselves. Do not forget to look after yourself and your significant other. ( If you don't have one find one...There is someone out there for everyone. You deserved to be loved also). Join a church. Speak to your friends. Keep up the good fight.
If you are Friend... If you have resources please consider supporting Generation Rescue as they move the agenda towards services and support programs. If you do not have financial resources provide respite services... Babysit, go with a parent to the grocery store, or running errands. Be there to listen.
If you are in the medical community it is time to wake up and do something...
If you are in the insurance industry it is time to make the people responsible pay...
if you are in the media it time to tell the truth...
If you are in the government it is time act...
If you are in education it is time to educate...
If you are in a religious community it is time to rally the troops to support families...
If you are involved in a Autism group please invite them to join the Move to Heal Autism By 2030 (MTHA)
If you are in contact with amanda peet and have a child with Autism invite her over to experience our lives first hand and but out of our childrens and the future of others children.
If you are impacted by autism (that means you are part of the human race) Join me in the fight. Join causecast with your own cause or mine. Make a difference in our world. now. State your change! Then make it happen.
If you happen to have some sleeping pills, sleep ideas for children with autism, or want to come spend the night let me know.... I need a nap.
Say a prayer for all those dealing or not dealing with their "Autism Like" conditions.
