Hanah Poling, Jett Travolta, and the guy next door. "Autism Like" Symptoms. Sad day for all.

I have read all the articles. I have seen the blog posts. I have watched the video clips. I am sad. Jett Travolta was a Human Being first. We all should take a deep breath and walk in his parents shoes. I can not imagine losing my son with out the chance to say I love you and good bye one more time. This 16 year old had parents who cared, resources to live, and the world at his fingertips. It is a free world. I do not care if he believed in magic voo doo cupie dolls. He deserves respect. May Jett rest in peace. May the family find solace in each other and their faith.
That being said... The Autism community is a buzz with comments from all. Was he on the spectrum? What exactly is Kawasaki's syndrome? Was John and Kelly in denial? From a distance, we can all agree that there were "Autism Like" (AL) characteristics. Autism Like characteristics were brought to light last year with the Hanah Poling settlement that conceded that vaccines may had something to do with Hanah's Autism like condition. At the end of the day it does not matter people.
We must stop splitting hairs. The safety of our children must be evaluated. It touches the Stars. Resources alone does not let one do an end run around Autism. We live in a society of haves and have nots. Autism though effects every member of the family and extended family. Jett was a large boy. Children on the spectrum are getting some of the best nutrition and supplements available. They are getting bigger and bigger. Society has to learn how to deal with them. I know putting cotton balls in every corner of the house is out of the question but there are things we need to do.
24 hours after this tragedy is not the time to do it here. I just wanted to connect the dots a little and say that our prayers and thoughts are with the Tavolta family today. I also pray for all that are dealing with "Autism Like " conditions. The spectrum is broad. Human Condition is broader. Human acceptance and tolerance could be broader. Rest in peace Jett.

What can you do today...
If you are a parent... Love your child unconditionally. Do not let your child feel they are any less because they cannot communicate the way we do or look after themselves. Do not forget to look after yourself and your significant other. ( If you don't have one find one...There is someone out there for everyone. You deserved to be loved also). Join a church. Speak to your friends. Keep up the good fight.
If you are Friend... If you have resources please consider supporting Generation Rescue as they move the agenda towards services and support programs. If you do not have financial resources provide respite services... Babysit, go with a parent to the grocery store, or running errands. Be there to listen.
If you are in the medical community it is time to wake up and do something...
If you are in the insurance industry it is time to make the people responsible pay...
if you are in the media it time to tell the truth...
If you are in the government it is time act...
If you are in education it is time to educate...
If you are in a religious community it is time to rally the troops to support families...
If you are in the New York City Office of Autism Speaks... remember that $50,000 you took from my community this fall could have helped to pay for my sons therapy this year.
If you are in contact with amanda peet and have a child with Autism invite her over to experience our lives first hand and but out of our childrens and the future of others children.
If you are impacted by autism (that means you are part of the human race) Join me in the fight. Join causecast with your own cause or mine. Make a difference in our world. now. State your change! Then make it happen.
If you happen to have some sleeping pills, sleep ideas for children with autism, or want to come spend the night let me know.... I need a nap.
Say a prayer for all those dealing or not dealing with their "Autism Like" conditions. Say a prayer for the Tavolta family may all there souls rest now.

People it is just time to deal with Autism....
