Why I Participate
Feeling strongly about the cause, if it supports the underdog who's being wronged, causes that support art in the schools, and other youth-oriented causes. I support cancer research because I lost my dad to lung cancer last November, and my mother was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer in May.
About Me
Wife, mom, mixed-media artist and animal wrangler. One daughter at OU; one a Freshman in high school. I'm a stay-at-home mom, but my kids are older now (ya' think?) so I've had to add the animal wrangler thing so that my husband will still support me!
My Interest
I love art-graffitti to etsy to the museums. I love animals of all kinds, and have even volunteered at the zoo (this is how I know that zebras bite!). I have volunteered at all levels at the local schools; I'm passionate about arts in the schools, since I have an All-State clarinet player and a talented actor/singer.
