Claremont Walk for Farm Animals
On Sept. 27 the city of Claremont will be hosting a walk for farm animals to benefit Farm Sanctuary. The walk will be held at Claremont Memorial Park, 840 N. Indian Hill Blvd., Claremont. Every fall cities in the United States and Canada hold walks to honor World Farm Animals Day. Pre-registration is $15. Walk day registration is $20 and begins at 8 a.m. and the walk starts at 9 a.m. Participants can register at www.walkforfarmanimals.org, or call (607)583-2225, Ext. 229.
