US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to Host Iftaar Dinner
On Monday, Sept 8th, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will hold an Iftaar to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. The Iftaar is a chance to celebrate Ramadan, commemorating the revelation of the Koran to the Prophet Mohammed, and to engage in reflection, generosity, and compassion – important aspects of Islam. The theme of this years , “Celebrating Islamic Art and Culture.”
