Clinton Fears For Charities During Economic Crisis.
On Monday former President Bill Clinton said that with all the financial crisis going on he fears that charitable investments are going to suffer. “Around the world, the thing that I worry most about with other stock markets going down and the American market here is that it will reduce the availability of capital … to do things that otherwise make good sense,” Clinton said. Clinton’s very own fourth annual Clinton Global Initiative started Tuesday.

of course charities suffer - the American Cancer Society has seen a drastic decrease in charitable donations in the past year. The thing is - people don't realize - you don't have to just give money. Give TIME, clothes, food, toys...money is tight, but what we have that we CAN give - we should. I just ransacked my whole closet and donated about a third of my wardrobe, extra pots and pans and a ton of dry goods that I have not and probably will not eat.
