You Choose Which Classroom Deserves Your Money
A very novel concept has been created with this years DonorsChoose. The idea is simple, it’s in the same vain as micro-lending. Teachers ask for the specific things they need and then donors choose what they want to supply. Desires range from one school wanting to post a spring issue of their newspaper to a post-Katrina school that wants a digital piano.
Would you be more willing to donate specifically instead of donating in a more broad sense?

It's like wedding registry for charities.
Actually this is really good for the donor because they know exactly where every dollar is going and how much of a difference they're making (for those who usually avoid donating).
