The EPA Thinks It's OK To Have Rocket Fuel In Our Drinking Water

Where does rocket fuel belong? If I had to list the top places it would have to be in rockets and in rocket fuel containers. If you were to ask the same question to the EPA they would say in rockets, rocket fuel containers and in your drinking water. Wait a minute, did I say drinking water? That doesn’t sound right.

Apparently the EPA has decided that perchlorate, which causes health risks for babies and fetuses is safe to have in drinking water. Don’t worry, it’s only been found in 395 sites in 35 states. On second thought that seems like a lot of places. How could this toxic ingredient get into our water supplies? It’s from The Defense Department using perchlorate to test missiles and rockets. Let’s hope these missiles do more damage to our enemies than they’re doing to us.

Why do you think the EPA has decided it’s not an issue? Do you think their relationship with the Department of Defense had anything to do with it?
