Oil Company Makes Record Profits But Still Wants To Charge You More

While the economy is going down the drain, the oil companies are raking in record profits. Exxon, most famous for killing thousands of animals when their ship spilled oil in 1989, has posted the highest quarterly profits by any US company.
This quarter Exxon made $11.68 billion. That’s up 58% compared to last year’s second quarter. Don’t worry though, OPEC is planning on meeting in November to discuss lowering the availability of oil to raise prices.
It seems that Exxon is making it so we have to decide to spend our money on food or gas.
