Recycle Tires, Wear Them On Your Wrist and Show Your Cause!

Make a small purchase…make a big difference! That’s the philosophy behind the new “I’m Tired” eco friendly bracelets. The bracelets, made from recycled tires and metals, retail for just $10. Half of each bracelet ($5 each) will be donated to charities, supporting one of 10 causes, from world hunger and global warming to cancer and AIDS, issues in our world that we are all tired of.
“This is very personal for my sister, Carrie, and me,” said Dan Hoffman, half of the brother/sister team behind “I’m Tired.” “When I was 7 and she was 10, we lost our father to heart disease at 37. As adults, we watched our step-father unsuccessfully fight cancer. Most recently, our mother succumbed to Alzheimer’s after slowly deteriorating for eight years. At some point, disease touches everyone, whether it’s you or someone you love. Then, there are global issues that make us want to advocate change, things like world hunger, child abuse and animal cruelty.”Im Tired bracelets
“When we set our criteria, we decided that first and foremost, the bracelet had to be inexpensive so everyone could afford it. And, we had to be able to make a substantial donation to charity from each one. Next, it had to be eco friendly and fashionable if we wanted lots of people to wear them. The bracelets are called “I’m Tired” for two reasons. First, they are made from recycled tires and second, everyone gets to pick and support causes they’re tired of.
“Each bracelet represents a cause,” Hoffman explained. "The band is made from recycled tires and we incorporate a bead, made from recycled metal, with “I’m Tired of” and the cause emblazoned on it (i.e., “I’m Tired of Cancer”). We want people to wear more than one and give them away as gifts. In these difficult financial times, they’ll make great meaningful and inexpensive holiday gifts. That’s how this effort will explode and succeed. We could raise millions of dollars to fight the world’s issues.
The first 10 causes are AIDS, Autism, Animal Cruelty, Alzheimer’s, Cancer, Child Abuse, Diabetes, Global Warming, Heart Disease and World Hunger. You can only purchase them at ImTiredOnline.com.
