Julianne Moore Saves The Children This Valentine’s Day

By parrish
Julianne Moore recently appeared on The View to chat about her participation in a new Valentine’s Day initiative with Save the Children — an organization that provides tools and support to over 35,000 poverty-stricken children.
“In a land of such wealth and prosperity, it is shocking to see so many children and their families struggling to get by. In fact, in rural America, one in five children lives in poverty,” said Moore.
Here’s how it works: simply visit SaveTheChildren.org and make a donation between Friday, Feb. 1st and Thursday, Feb. 14th. From there you’ll be able to print and email custom Valentine’s Day cards to friends and snuggle buddies alike, and get the satisfaction of also helping a great organization.
