Falling Whistles Bike Tour
by JONATHAN HARRIS, Managing Editor
Sean Carasso is one of many good friends of Causecast fighting to end the struggle of child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His organization, Falling Whistles, is named after the only weapon given to the youngest soldiers fighting in the Second Congo War, where fighting still persists after 10 years.
I had no idea, until this morning, that Carasso’s three friends were taking a bike tour across America to raise awareness about the issue. The Falling Whistles Bike Tour will go from Florida to San Diego, CA, over two months, and through the site you can donate to any of the riders. Follow them on Twitter as well @fwbiketour.
The group leaves in less than 24 hours. Follow their tour and stick with Causecast where we’ll be sending you frequent updates of their progress.
