Three times in three weeks, documentary filmmaker Jason Pollock (The Youngest Candidate) is hosting a livestream twitter meet-up with Causecast. Didn’t catch Jason at the world premiere of The Youngest Candidate at the LA Film Festival? No problem. Missed him at the Causecast headquarters chatting about making the film and shouting out to his Twitter peeps? It happens.
Wednesday, July 8th at 12pm PST, Jason and this week’s special guest Stef Michaels (@adventuregirl) will be dropping by to talk about 140 Smiles, a campaign for the benefit of the nonprofit organization Operation Smile. Operation Smile provides treatment to children born with cleft lips, palates and other facial deformities in 51 countries, as well as training and supplying physicians in the local area.
How can you help? A surgical procedure for each child costs $240. To support Stef’s cause, Causecast will donate the funds for one complete surgery for every 240 Friends Stef makes on Causecast! All you have to do is go to Stef’s profile and Jason’s profile, friend them and leave a comment on Stef’s Profile! Tell your friends! The more support you show to Stef and Jason, the bigger difference you will make directly in someone’s life. We’ll be following the progress during the show, starting right here at 12pm PST.
