Marijuana Video Mashup - Videos, Photos, and Blogs Wanted

This weekend marks the 72nd anniversary of the Marijuana Tax Act, which led to making cannabis illegal. So we ask, is marijuana a cause? What do you think? Should it be legal? Some people hate it, others love it. For some, a medicine while others a crime. Do you support regulating its use, taxing the hell out of it to fix our economy, or rather putting those who inhale deep in prison?

In a few weeks, Causecast will be releasing an episode of Cause in 60 about marijuana legalization and we want to know your opinion. Tell us where you stand on this issue and we’ll feature you in our video mash-up for all the world to see.

Need ideas? Tell us about:
•The laws and penalties where you live
•Medical vs. recreational use. Is it safe?
•A quote, song, or lyric about marijuana and hemp use
•Famous people who have smoked marijuana
•Famous people who are strongly against its use
•Taxing it?
•Should it be legal or illegal? Where do you stand? Feel free to send all viewpoints.

This is what you can do to be included in Cause in 60:
•Get out your webcam, camcorder, or camera phone and tell us what you think. Upload your video to Causecast.
•Have photos of rallies and events advocating or protesting marijuana use? Upload them to your Causecast account.
•Write a blog post using your Causecast profile.
•Tag your video, photos, and blog post with “marijuana” and “C60”.
•Upload a video to YouTube and send the URL to harmonie@causecast.org or leave it as a comment in this article!
•Send a tweet to @Causecast #marijuana #C60 with your message

Upload, post, or tweet your opinions by Monday, August 3 at 10 a.m. and we will mash it up in an episode of Cause in 60. Let your voice be heard!

The reason people can be so open about participating in illegal drug activity is the same reason illegal "aliens" can demonstrate for lawful status: laws that don't reflect common moral sentiment aren't taken seriously. If the public doesn't have a vengeance for something, the justice system will hardly bother with it.

Oh and something just a little light-hearted>>>.

So, Jackie Smith (love her!) admitted to smoking cannabis at university and in fact genuine photographs of her doing so were shown on the news a while ago.
My point is that; should she not be arrested for taking part in an illegal activity?
Surely her admittance on TV and radio is a public confession and the photos shown are factual evidence of the CRIME (as she would put it) taking place.
If any other CRIMINAL admitted to a crime they took part in, regardless if it was even 50yrs before or more and had photographic evidence of the crime, surely they would be locked up straight away!
    I CALL FOR HER ARREST!
    Ha!

I'd like to see a discussion with Jackie Smith regarding her extremely strange actions and behaviour when reclassifying cannabis earlier this year!!!!!!!!

Why does one ignorant, pig-headed women with an obvious chip on her shoulder get to undermine and override the most expert scientists which she employed (at tax payers cost!) to answer the reclassifying question?!?!?! They said leave it as class C or decriminalize it, SO SHE (just because she wanted to) decided to put it back to class B! So, how is SHE somehow more of an "expert" than those real experts she employed? I'm confused!

This society is heading down a bad path and with MP's such as Mrs Smith etc being in charge, I don't feel they will ever be the ones to actually ever "do what's right"! Common f***ing sense, where has it gone?

    Peace.
