Hurricane Bill's Projected Path: Near Nova Scotia
by ERICA LIEPMANN, Causecast Editor
Within hours of its creation early last Monday morning, Hurricane Bill had reached wind speeds of up to 90 mph. The hurricane is the first major storm of this year’s Atlantic ocean hurricane season.
Bill has weakened back to a Category 1 and is expected to move east across the Atlantic after a brush with Nova Scotia. The area is still on tropical storm watch throughout the weekend.
