Filmmaker Joe Berlinger’s new documentary, Crude, explores the fierce $27 billion legal battle raging between oil giant Chevron and the indigenous people of Ecuador. Chevron is pleading innocent to the allegations that they have polluted the Amazon, threatening the lives of the indigenous people who live there and causing cancer in many. The film has already garnered lots of attention since its debut at the Sundance film festival in January. Find out when Crude is coming to a theater in your city.
