Inevitably, a news article about Bob Dylan must be titled with a cringe-worthy pun defaming one of the legendary artist’s hit songs. In the Christmas Spirit, we thought we’d give this particular Bob Dylan article its own holiday-inspired twist.

So, thanks to the miracle of social networking, we came up with the top ten worst Bob Dylan Christmas Article titles. Be warned what you are about to read is extremely apalling, but funny. And “funny” makes appalling okay.

1- It’s Alright, Ma (I’m Only Caroling)

2- Don’t Think Twice, It’s all White

3- Girl from the North Pole

And my personal favorite:

10- Everybody Must Get Snowed

The thought of Bob Dylan AND Christmas TOGETHER might be the greatest thing ever. Lucky for Dylan fans everywhere, Christmas 2009 brings its own Miracle on Positively 4th Street with Bob Dylan and our favorite Christmas tunes united together on the same album. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

On October 13, Bob Dylan will be releasing his first-ever holiday album. Christmas In The Heart, released by Columbia Records, will be the Dylan’s 47th album. Songs performed include, “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “Winter Wonderland,” “Little Drummer Boy” and “Must Be Santa.” It gets better. In the Christmas spirit, all royalties from the album will go to aid the hungry with proceeds being donated to Feeding America. An estimated 1.4 million individuals in need will be reached with 4 million holiday meals provided by album sales. In response to the announcement of the album’s upcoming release, Dylan commented:

"It’s a tragedy that more than 35 million people in this country alone - 12 million of those, children – often go to bed hungry and wake up each morning unsure of where their next meal is coming from. I join the good people of Feeding America in the hope that our efforts can bring some food security to people in need during this holiday season."

Dylan has also committed all future royalties on the album to further the endeavors of Feeding America.

As the largest US -based organization of its kind, Feeding America provides food to an estimated 25 million hungry Americans each year. By partnering with individuals, local food banks and government agencies, Feeding America works to reach low income families affected by hunger in an effort to solve America’s hunger crisis. Feeding America’s Hunger Action Center acts as the advocacy agent of the organization. The Hunger Action Center works on behalf of the 35 million Americans affected by hunger to gain support for legislation that addresses factors that contribute to the food insecurity issues our country faces.
