Invisible Children fanatics rejoice: IC is on the road again, and with more fervor than ever. After successful efforts this spring to bring national attention to the harsh realities of the Lord’s Resistance Army, they are now calling out to President Obama to pass the LRA Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act.

How It Ends hasn’t found its end yet; Joseph Kony is still wreaking havoc across national borders in Africa. At least 540,000 Congolese have been driven from their homes due to the ongoing conflict posed by the LRA since September of 2008. More than 650 children from the Orietale province have been lost to the ranks of the LRA, adding to tens of thousands that have been abducted over the past 23 years.

Now, they are calling on you to “join the race for peace” by purchasing their own 120 page activist handbook dubbed the Rescue and Recovery Journal. The manual details a ‘how-to’ guide on mobilizing friends, family, your campus, and your community. But wait, that’s not all! When you purchase the journal you will also receive a copy of the Together We Are Free documentary.

For those of you who have seen the incredibly poignant films, you may feel intimidated by the task at hand, however, this new journal will help you plot the course ahead. Help out IC all while becoming a more effective activist!
