98-7 FM, Paramore, and United We Serve Team Up To Make A Difference

L.A. rock station 98-7FM is teaming up with the United We Serve Campaign to reward a handful of awesome local volunteers with tickets to catch an exclusive performance from Paramore. The band will be performing October 1 at a secret, completely stellar location.
President Obama’s United We Serve initiative is leading the charge promoting community service nationwide, but his ideals can’t take root on the local level without important voices in individual communities getting on board. Looks like 98-7FM is one such voice, using their platform to benefit the greater good in L.A. In an era where it feels like alternative voices are getting squeezed off the FM radio dial, it’s very exciting to see a station that isn’t afraid to break the mold. We’re lucky enough to have a president in office that is committed to inspiring social change and re-defining American values, let’s not lose the spirit of change that ushered him into office just 10 short months ago.
If you’re already volunteering in your community, 98-7FM is tossing you a much deserved reward. If you’re a little wary about getting out there to volunteer, hopefully this opportunity will give you a push in the right direction.
