REVO LA Art Show Benefits School In Indonesia
Picture_12.png

REVO is an organization that works to raise awareness about international issues of social justice by bringing together communities and raising funds to benefit pre-existing non-profit organizations. Now there’s an idea us Causecasters can really get behind!

The folks at REVO say it best themselves:

REVO is NOT a cause in and of itself. Rather, REVO exists to motivate and mobilize everyday people into taking REAL, creative steps toward relieving, restoring, and bringing HOPE to others in desperate need of compassion and grace. There are a lot of noteworthy organizations out there doing great work already. REVO simply helps these organizations to keep doing what they’ve been doing.

Recently, REVO LA has been putting together an Art Show to benefit the Sekolah Dasar Balem Wamena School in West Papua, Indonesia. In an area of the country where the education system is inadequate and dysfunctional, the Sekolah Dasar Balem Wamena School is an example of excellence. REVO hopes that the success of this school will not only make a difference in the lives of the children who attend it, but will help elevate the regional standard of education in West Papua on the whole.

The Art Show is this Sunday, October 4, at the UCLA Ackerman Grand Ballroom. A $10 entrance fee gets you in!

Be there: 308 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90024 at 7pm.
