What is a Carrotmob, you ask? Well, it’s an organized group of consumers banding together to encourage business owners to get serious about making their shops sustainable! Shop owners who are willing to make a bold commitment to being socially responsible and environmentally friendly get rewarded with lots of business. Carrotmobs put the power in the hands of the people and send a strong message to business owners that their days are numbered if they don’t step it up for our planet.

The Carrotmobbers, if you will, have teamed up with the homies at 350 on the International Day of Climate Action, October 24.

Check out the list of Carrotmobs coming up for International Day of Climate Action to see if there’s one near you:

Berlin, Germany
Bonn, Germany
Durango, CO
Minneapolis, MN
San Francisco, CA
San Luis Obispo, CA
Sydney, Australia
Victoria, BC, Canada

If there isn’t a Carrotmob going down in your city, not to worry, you can still take action against global warming on October 24! Check out 350’s comprehensive list of International Day Of Climate Action events happening…well, everywhere!

The fun doesn’t end October 24. You can also check out Carrotmobs coming up later this fall. If there isn’t one near you, plan it! A Carrotmob can go down anytime, anywhere!

Here’s the story of first ever Carrotmob:
