Senator John Kerry Calls On American Youth For A Green Movement

by TAMMY ROSECRANS, Causecast Editor
It’s crunch time kids. We’ve done our research, spent hours studying, collaborating and discussing. The final exam is finally upon us. But it’s not just any college final, the grade will not be posted and forgotten with the sweet prospects of a winter break holiday. This test will determine the future of our planet. That’s right, the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen is only a few weeks away.
Now that President Obama has stated that he may attend the conference, it is even more crucial to make our voices heard and let our leaders know where we stand on climate change.
Senator John Kerry is calling on American youth to be on the forefront of this issue. The Organize to be Heard Challenge calls on youth activists to engage their communities and create an arena for action. The winners of the contest will be sent to Washington D.C. to represent the voices of our generation as they meet with key legislators.
Earn points by writing letters to your senators, making videos, writing blogs, hosting events, and getting the word out about the importance of establishing a greener future.
Follow them on Facebook or Twitter to get the latest news on the movement.
Let your voice be heard. Join the movement.
